I’m based in the Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire, a dramatic former mill town nestled at the congruence of two valleys – I moved here in 2009 after a visit one weekend.
The town is renowned for its community of artists, creatives and makers and boasts an independent traditional cinema (which I used to manage), famous gig venue The Trades Club, a Little Theatre, and is the home to festivals and events such as those run by Hebden Bridge Arts (which I currently manage), Hebden Bridge Film Festival, Happy Valley Pride and Handmade Productions, who are responsible for the fabulous Handmade Parade. Nearby is the Ted Hughes Arvon Centre, a writing retreat at Lumb Bank, and IOU Theatre, based at Hebden Bridge Hostel.
I work with clients all over the UK, so do get in touch if you’d like to work with me.
